Wow, is it that time already? Christmas, Holidays, New Years! What did you do last year? What are your plans this year?

It is important to book your treatments a few days before your holidays or Christmas parties – you want to give your skin time to settle down after a treatment. We offer a number of procedures, visit our website or give us a call to book a consultation such that we can make the perfect choice.

Tips for Skin Care during the Holidays:

  • Avoid drinking too much as alcohol will dehydrate your skin causing wrinkles, and also cause vessels in the skin to dilate leading to a flushed and red appearance.
  • Wear sunblock / sunscreen everyday
  • Have fun but don’t over do it. Poor diet, smoking and alcohol contributes to skin ageing more than you know.

Treatments for You:

Botox is a protein derived from botulism toxin that is injected underneath skin in order to minimize or smooth out lines and wrinkles on the face. When low doses of Botox are used, it actually paralyzes or relaxes facial muscles, giving the recipient a clean, smooth facial appearance. Botox is also used to treat many other including writing cramps and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)

Fillers are used to:

  • Reducing permanent lines and wrinkles: With increasing age, the skin becomes thinner and thus more prone to folding and wrinkling.
  • Enhancing natural beauty: Fillers can also be used to enhance and augment existing lips, cheeks, chin, etc.
  • Replacing fat loss: Dimples caused by loss of fat cells can be replenished using dermal fillers to restore volume and thus a fuller face.

Chemical Peels

A chemical peel is a body treatment technique used to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin using a chemical solution that causes the dead skin to slough off and eventually peel off. The regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin.

Non-surgical Facelifts

For those looking for an alternative to invasive plastic surgery, a non-surgical facelift might be a great solution. There are different techniques for a non-surgical facelift, most of which are better suited for younger people who are just beginning to show signs of aging. However, some new methods are now targeting people in their 40s and 50s, especially those experiencing sagging skin and deeper wrinkles.

Sclerotherapy – Veins

Sclerotherapy is a procedure used to treat blood vessels or blood vessel malformations (vascular malformations) and also those of the lymphatic system. A medicine is injected into the vessels, which makes them shrink. It is used for children and young adults with vascular or lymphatic malformations. In adults, sclerotherapy is often used to treat varicose veins.

If you worked to lose some weight but did not quite meet your goal  – there is nothing wrong with accepting some help – have you considered Mesotherapy?

It is a medical specialty that involves injecting microscopic quantities of natural extracts, homeopathic agents, pharmaceuticals and vitamins into the skin. It can be used to:

  • Eliminate cellulite,
  • Promote weight loss,
  • Treat aging skin and redundant (sagging) skin, and
  • Rejuvenate the hands and neck.
